Sam’s first day back at school went smoothly, thank goodness, apart from him slipping over on the way to school this morning and bumping his head. He was okay, just a bit embarrassed I think. The snow and ice did start to melt a bit today but it’s probably freezing over again tonight, and we’re supposed to have more on the way again later this week. Sam enjoyed his walk home from school this afternoon, throwing snowballs over into the school playground, at trees and fences. He didn’t think I was a good enough target
